Frequently Asked Questions
Why is X token not on JeetScreener, even though it was there before?
JeetScreener collects holder data for trending tokens twice a day. These trending tokens are the top volume tokens in the last 24 hours for each market cap range (< $10 mil, $10-50 mil, $50 mil+), with the requirement that they are at least 1 week old. If your token isn't trending on a particular day, it won't appear on JeetScreener, leading to missing data for that day. The only way to guarantee a token's data is collected regularly is to get listed on JeetScreener.
What are the benefits of a JeetScreener listing?
Getting listed on JeetScreener offers multiple advantages:
Consistent Data Collection: Your token’s stats are guaranteed to be collected, ensuring no gaps in data. Non-listed tokens will have to rely on being picked up by our trending algorithm to have their data displayed.
Establish a Track Record: The earlier your token gets listed, the more data it will have over time, establishing a reliable track record of Diamond Hand growth that can attract more investors.
Increased Data Frequency: For listed tokens, stats are collected six times a day, compared to just once or twice (or zero times) a day for non-listed tokens.
Enhanced Data Coverage: Listed tokens have stats that cover 80-90% of tokens held, compared to 70-80% for non-listed tokens.
Exclusive Features: Access to Diamond Hand Clubs Leaderboard features and Diamond Hand Chats.
Premium Stats (Coming Soon): Premium stats will be visible to all users, not just premium users.
Increased Visibility (Coming Soon): Listed tokens with top stats will be featured daily, providing additional visibility.
Future Benefits: More exciting features to be announced!
How does JeetScreener work?
JeetScreener tracks trending tokens by collecting holder data twice a day. These tokens are selected based on their trading volume over the last 24 hours in their respective market cap ranges. For listed tokens, stats are collected six times a day to ensure more frequent updates and better data accuracy.
How reliable is the JeetScreener data?
JeetScreener generally covers 70-80% of a token's supply, with listed tokens having an even higher coverage of 80-90%. However, it's important to note that stats are not useful for tokens where a significant portion of the supply is held on centralized exchanges (CEXes), as JeetScreener does not have access to CEX holdings data. This tool is most effective for pre-CEX tokens.
Why are there long periods where the data on charts is flat?
Flat data points on charts occur when no data was gathered during that period. This could happen if a token wasn’t trending on a particular day, leading to gaps in data collection. For listed tokens, this issue is minimized due to the increased frequency of data collection.
Why don't you just collect stats for every token all the time?
The nature of the data JeetScreener collects is resource-intensive, so it is not feasible to do so frequently for every token. Instead, we focus on gathering stats for the tokens that have the most demand.
We believe this approach also provides value in that we help users filter out the noise and focus on the most relevant tokens.
How often does JeetScreener update its data?
Price stats are updated every 15 minutes.
For listed tokens, holder stats (diamond hands %, retention, etc.) are updated 6 times a day (every 4 hours).
Trending tokens have their holder stats processed twice a day, at 02:00 AM UTC and 02:00 PM UTC.
